Saint Petersburg

In July 2002 Paul-Michael and I went to Saint Petersburg, Russia, while Olga was visiting her parents. They left us with their apartment, while they escaped to [url=dacha/IM000511]The Dacha[/url]. We spent a nice, leisurely week there, and here are just a fraction of the photos I took.
St Petersburg was founded in 1703 as the capital of Czarist Russia. This means that next year is it's 300 aniversary, which is why half the city was covered with scaffold and hessian. That may be lucky, because despite this there are more than two hundred photos here.
